Ads Added

I went ahead an activated AdSense, which inserts advertisements in the blog. Hoping this will not detract from anyone's experience. If it does, I'll certainly be interested to know. We had some discussion about the cost of the trip and whatnot. Despite my objection to being beholden to sponsors or denigrating the purity of the site by defiling it with ads, I was curious to see what sort of revenue they might bring in. I don't expect it will be much, based on the level of traffic across our site, but it will be interesting to see where it takes us.

But if you find yourself troubled by them at all, please let me know. Sharing this adventure with you is certainly more important than generating a pittance.
